The New York Jewish Film Festival running from 13 to 28 January will be celebrating the diversity of the worldwide Jewish experience through an unrivaled
selection of cinematic work, the festival will be presented by The Jewish Museum and The Film Society
of Lincoln Center. Amongst the screenings will be the film "Calatoria Lui Gruber" which stars Marcel. The film will be screened January 13 and January 14 view more

Sorry everyone but there is not much news about Marcel at the moment. He is in theatre on the 17 January, so if you are in Bucharest try and get a ticket to see him perform. On the Facebook page I have posted some "behind the scenes" photos of the up and coming film The Phantom Father for you to look at and also have posted some details of the film Logodnicii din America which will be shown on TVR International over the next couple of weeks. view more

I would like to wish all the fans, my friends and people who have helped me with this website throughout this year. I appreciate your loyalty, generosity and support. Have a very wonderful Christmas day and may your New Year bring only the best for you... Next year there will be some big changes to the look of the site and the gallery will be up and running again. The ACT theatre and DATIO Foundation - Switzerland have organized the Christmas show
"Soul Time" Music, painting and literature, from Schubert to Frank Martin. The event will be held at ACT theatre on the 20 December, 19.00. Marcel Iures, Maria Rain, Ionut Stefanescu and Ana-Cristina Sylvester will be involved in the production. Marcel will be interpreting Modest Petrovich Mussorgski in their own words. Entrance is free. Not much happening in the news with Marcel at the moment. However, I have been emailed some photos of the play "Acasa la Tata" by Mihai Cherana who works at the Teatrul ACT. You can listen to Marcel of Radio Romānia Actualitati. Apparently listeners made up a new list of those they want to hear on the show. Marcel being one of them. Marcel kindly agreed to visit the radio, 28.11.09 to talk about life, his relationship with sports, family, the big world of film
and of course the theater.
